Oh whoa I really need to update my bio on my blog.
I know I won’t be able to finish another book before the year changes over, so: I used Goodreads to track 83 books in 2018. There are a few I re-read that I didn’t note, and several I abandoned and didn’t track.
I know I won’t top this in 2019.
So, I have news.
As of this week, I’m co-director of App Camp for Girls!
I feel like the thoughts I post to micro.blog need to be profound, rather than the random brain drip I post to Twitter. I think it’s in the framing: a short blog post (exists for its own merit) versus a social media post (exists to spawn interaction).
Daily Gratitude:
Daily gratitude:
1. J 🥰 2. Buckled down, got a solid outline finished for the App Launch Map Field Guide. 3. Bubble tea.
Daily gratitude:
1. Squeaky clean, slightly reorganized desk. 2. Cool weather. 3. Audiobook recommendations from friends.
Daily gratitude:
1. I think I’ve finally figured out how to organize the bathroom. 2. There were literally zero people waiting before me when I went to get my blood drawn this morning. 3. We didn’t get rid of the jug of Nature’s Miracle like I thought we had.
Daily gratitude: 1. Flexibility in my schedule. 2. Cuddly Raven-cat, even though it means she doesn’t feel well. 3. It’s bedtime and I’m actually tired.
Daily gratitude: 1. Modern dentistry 2. Raven scarves. 3. Getting the hang of this tiny apartment.
Daily gratitude:
1. Splatoon! 2. Understanding that when I feel overwhelmed, I need to step back. Or sleep. Or eat. 3. A strong relationship with my mom.
Daily gratitude: 1. Chaos to remind me of calm. 2. New iPad to help me get work done. 3. Public transportation to get me from place to place without driving.
I’m trying really hard not to look at election results coverage until tomorrow. It won’t help and will only give me flashbacks to the horror of 2016.
thinking about how to help apps succeed. Is there a way to rank these four very broad categories?
Hey, J’s been working on something for the last few months and now, he’s ready to share!
It’s called What a Great Link! It’s a service that will help you share the great things you find online with the people you care about:
